Okay, technically they're the same thing, at least in the film world. However, in my writings, I like to differentiate between them, because often the term screen test is used for actors and actresses at higher levels, and auditions generally refer to the lowly auditions that make people call the movie industry too competitive.

Take Acting Advice With A Grain Of Salt

I know it sounds silly every time I tell you not to trust anybody out there offering acting advice (especially since I'm doing the same), but the point is still valid. Don't take everything that you read or hear from other people in this industry at face value.
